Northern Spain Trip

Cangas de Onis

The drive to Cangas de Onis meant driving the 22 km from Fuente Dé to Potes, then heading towards Panes through the "Defiladero de La Hermida" gorge. At Panes we crossed the Rio Deva and headed along route 114 to Arenas de Cabrales (famous for its cheese). Here we did side trips up to Bulnes and to see the Cares Gorge, before continuing to Cangas de Onis.
